You want to win. So does Bill Freedman.
For more than a decade, Bill Freedman has been on the front lines of transforming innovative technologies into sustainable businesses. Part pioneer, part evangelist, he’s worked shoulder-to-shoulder with technology practitioners around the globe, and with Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, engineers, and sales professionals.
Freedman’s demand generation and marketing accomplishments include:
- Re-imagining a balanced demand generation engine at GridGain to enable down-market product-led growth of in-memory data applications. This new go-to-market motion was added alongside the expansion of the company’s leadership in key vertical markets and use cases. I oversaw strategy, tech stack, and campaigns while collaborating with the outbound sales team to drive new customer acquisition.
- Navigating from idea to product-, market-, and channel-fit for Appcito’s innovative application delivery service. The Appcito team created a product and service delivery channel that enabled DevOps teams to make their cloud applications hum, their users happy, and their companies succeed. My contributions included working with executives and sales to build a full database of target accounts, a diverse portfolio of engagement-optimized campaigns, and a metrics-instrumented demand engine to drive scale.
- Implementing the product-led growth strategy at Appcelerator, enabling the business to go from 0 to 300,000 registered mobile developers, and 0 to $6 million in annual recurring revenue in less than 3 years. I built and scaled Appcelerator’s Marketo-based product-led growth engine.
- Driving multiple new product introductions at Remedy Corporation, resulting in three years of triple-digit revenue growth, an IPO, and broad adoption of IT service management solutions.
